The Saddlers scored two goals in two minutes at the end of the first half, with Dwayne Mattis breaking the deadlock after 44 minutes and trialist Matt Richards adding a second before the break with a superb curling effort. The Baggies made a host of changes and got themselves back into the game after 61 minutes when a right-wing cross from Chris Brunt was chested down and fired home by Moore. Roberto Di Matteo's men claimed a draw late on when the in-form Moore was brought down in the area by goalkeeper Rene Gilmartin and Craig Beattie scored from the penalty spot.
