Wales' injury problems are set to ease for their Euro 2016 opener against Slovakia with Joe Ledley on schedule to complete a remarkable recovery from a broken leg.

Ledley fractured his left leg playing for Crystal Palace on May 7, but the midfielder could now be given the all-clear to play just five weeks later.

" Joe has been on the pitch, doing everything the rest of the players are doing," said Wales manager Chris Coleman at their Brittany training base.

"If you get a kick on it, that is a question mark.

"But he has done exactly the same session, the same duration, everything the same as the other players. He is good."

Midfielder Joe Allen and striker Hal Robson-Kanu also missed the 3-0 weekend friendly defeat to Sweden in Stockholm through injury.

But Coleman also expects them to make the Group B opener in Bordeaux on Saturday.

" All three came through a session yesterday, they are fully integrated with the squad and it is positive news," said Coleman.

" We are monitoring them daily, but as we speak all three are good.

"They are lacking game time, obviously, but physically they look good.

"They are training with the squad, we expect them there again tomorrow and if it stays the same they will be available for the weekend."
