Craig Bellamy has been recalled to the Wales squad for next week's friendly with Austria in Swansea, manager Chris Coleman revealed on Thursday.

The 33-year-old Cardiff City striker missed the last four matches of Wales' 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign, sparking speculation he was considering his international future.

West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison also returns after overcoming a persistent knee injury, but goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey remains sidelined due to a serious knee problem.

Wales are currently second from bottom in European World Cup qualifying Group A, seven points off a potential play-off place, while Austria are fourth in Group D.
