Wales international wing-back Gareth Bale has pledged his long-term future to Tottenham Hotspur by signing a new four-year contract at White Hart Lane.
The 19-year-old joined Spurs just over a year ago from Southampton, but has been restricted to just 12 appearances for the north London club due to injuries.
However, Bale did manage three goals in those dozen outings and is seen as a major player for the future at Spurs. He has also won 11 caps for his country to date.
Meanwhile, new recruit Cesar Sanchez has spoken of his delight at sealing a move to Spurs from Real Zaragoza.
He told the club's official website: "This is a very historic club and it's a dream for me to be here working under a coach like Juande Ramos. It's a great opportunity for me.
"It has always been a dream of mine and my family for me to play in England. I come here to learn about the culture and how football is played here.
"It's a dream for many players in Spain and I'm lucky to be here. English football is very special, not like in any other country."
