Venta: We must keep winning

Villarreal defender Rodrigues Javi Venta has insisted that the team must keep winning if they are to climb the La Liga table.

The Yellow Submarine scraped to a 2-1 win against Malaga over the weekend, a result that has lifted them off the foot of the table and Venta has admitted that the victory has lifted a weight off the players' shoulders.

Speaking to AS, he said: "The situation was very bad and it showed in the nerves the team had. From now on things will be much better and more calm.

"The team falters a lot when we are so down and things are not resolved in one day. The win has improved things because when you are down things seem more difficult."
