Senna expects strong finish

Midfielder Marcos Senna is confident that Villarreal will embark on a strong 2010 following a torrid first half to their season.

The Yellow Submarine have moved up to ninth place in the table after bouncing back from a dismal first two months of the season where they languished in the bottom three.

Senna now has his sights set on winning silverware in either the Europa League or Copa del Rey.

"Things are going well after the last results," said the Spain midfielder. "We have recovered after our poor start.

"Our intention is to go as far as possible in the Copa del Rey and in the Europa League, without forgetting the goal to finish as high as possible in the league."
