Rossi content with Villarreal

Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi has played down talk of him leaving the Spanish club to link up with Russian champions Rubin Kazan.

The 22-year-old Italian international insists that he is happy with the Yellow Submarine and has no wish to move on just yet.

He told AS: "I know nothing and, also, these are things that I do not want to talk about because I'm very focussed on doing well with Villarreal.

"I have not seen many games in the Russian league, but I do not care because I do my work with Villarreal.

"I have had two-and-a-half very good years here at Villarreal. I played a lot and have achieved good things in the Champions League and the league and my idea is not to leave Villarreal. I am very happy here."
