Villarreal midfielder Santi Cazorla is excited by the prospect of earning a call-up to the Spain squad for this summer's European Championships.
The 23-year-old is reportedly set to win a place in Luis Aragones' party for this summer's action and Cazorla is relishing a big opportunity to shine.
He said: "If Luis Aragones calls me up it would be a dream. If there are rumours about this then it already makes me proud.
"I would give up my holidays and whatever to be able to participate in an event like this.
"I am very happy at Villarreal, I am at the second best team in Spain. There is an incredible group of people here and that is noticed on the pitch.
"The calmness and humility that we have at this club gives us a lot of confidence for when we go out to play."
