Champs Bounce Back

Norwegian champions Vålerenga, re found their form and came back with a 3-1 win against IK Start in Olso, FC Midtjylland swept them aside in the last game on Thursday in a 4-0 defeat. Two first-half goals from Magne Hoseth and another from Freddy Dos Santos settled the match between the sides that occupied the top spots at the end of the Tippeligaen season. Start hit a late consolation goal through Kjetil Pedersen but it proved in vein. They were consigned to their second defeat in two games.
