Valencia's diminutive Argentine forward Pablo Piatti has been ruled out for between eight and ten weeks after fracturing a bone in his arm in training, the Liga club announced on Friday.
Piatti underwent surgery straight away and is expected to be out until at least the beginning of November.
The 23-year-old, La Liga's smallest player, moved to the Mestalla from Almeria in the summer of last year.
