Valencia defender Adil Rami looks set to miss the second-leg of his side's Champions League last-16 tie with Paris Saint Germain after a scan revealed a hamstring tear that will rule him out for around three weeks.
"Rami has undergone a scan this morning which showed a four millimetre tear in his left hamstring," a statement said on the club's web site.
"The player has began treatment and his estimated period of recuperation is three weeks."
It was the French international's late strike in the first-leg last week that has given Valencia some hope of progressing to the quarter-finals, although they still have a 2-1 deficit to overhaul when they travel to Paris for the return-leg on March 6.
Rami is also expected to miss league games against Real Zaragoza, Levante and Athletic Bilbao.
