Valencia star taken out by referee sliding challenge

Valencia star Sergio Canales found himself on the receiving end of a great last ditch tackle during their victory over Granada on Saturday, from the referee!

Spanish ref Eduardo Gonzalez became a Granada hero after taking down Canales with a sliding lunge as the Spanish midfielder was 30 yards from the goal. Having already scored the decisive goal in the 4th minute, Canales was looking to double his tally only to be thwarted by an unintentional sliding challenge from the referee.
