Valencia snare Brazil keeper

Valencia have agreed a deal to sign Brazil's current Olympic Games goalkeeper Renan Brito.

The 23-year-old will put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the La Liga side when he returns from the Beijing games next week.

Renan has won three full international caps after becoming the first-choice keeper for club side Internacional in recent seasons.

"He is very excited at the knowledge that he has signed for Valencia," confirmed agent Aitor Montero.

"It is very important for him and the signing comes at a good time for him personally.

"He wants to make the journey across to Europe with a big club, which is the dream of all footballers outside of the continent."
