Valencia keen on Jovanovic

Valencia are reported to have emerged as favourites to sign Standard Liege's Serbia international striker Milan Jovanovic.

The 28-year-old is attracting interest from a number of clubs across the continent, although his agent, Zoran Stojadinovic, insists that any move will be decided on footballing and not financial grounds.

He commented: "The player desires calm to decide his future. Now we manage many options and he is still not decided where his destiny lies.

"Milan wants a good sporting project and not to think exclusively about the money in question."
