Valencia Deny 'Davids' Real Deal

Valencia chief Vicente Soriano has rubbished reports he offered David Villa and David Silva to Real Madrid. It had been claimed Soriano, president of the cash-strapped club, had offered the two Spain internationals for 60million euros to Madrid president Vicente Boluda after speaking with him at a restaurant in Valencia on Tuesday. However, Soriano has denied any such proposal was made, claiming the reports were "completely false". "We just said hello because we know each other. We didn't say a single word referring to football or players. "I'm obliged to come out and say this because the news is totally untrue, just so the Valencia fans know. "Whoever spread this false information could have contradicted the story with only one call and we would have avoided all this."
