Soriano rejects Villa talks

Valencia president Vicente Soriano insists there will be no talks over a deal for striker David Villa this weekend when Los Che host Real Madrid.

Spain star Villa is being tipped to leave the cash-strapped Mestalla in the summer, with Real reported to be heading the queue of clubs seeking his signature.

However, Soriano told AS: "Never in the meal before games do we speak of transfers, at least not I. Besides, nobody has said anything to me about the matter.

"It is not something that interests me and I remember everyone said he had left Valencia last summer and now look where he is.

"We will wait for the league to finish and then see what happens.

"Right now, until the league is over, we do not have an interest to speak about it.

"Then, we will say what we have to say and do what we have to do. Everyone knows what I want to do personally."
