Silva shuns exit rumours

Valencia's Spain international midfielder David Silva has distanced himself from renewed rumours linking him with a summer move away from the Mestalla.

The 23-year-old, who is currently sidelined by a muscle injury in his right leg, has been linked with Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid, but insists that he is focused solely on his recovery.

He said: "I have to be focused first on recovering to be able to help my team and I'm not thinking of anything else.

"I don't know anything about the rumours and I insist that I have a contract with Valencia that I wish to fulfil."
