Valencia midfielder David Silva insists that he would be happy to remain at the Mestalla next season, amid rumours of a big-money move.

Both Silva and striker David Villa continue to be linked with major clubs both in Spain and abroad, but neither man seems overly keen on a transfer.

Silva said: "I am happy here and I am thinking only about Valencia, who are a great club and who also have fantastic players.

"Now, all I want to do is have my rest after a long campaign and when the pre-season begins, I want to make sure my batteries are fully recharged."

Silva has recently been on international duty at the Confederations Cup.
