Germany international Timo Hildebrand has vowed to stay and fight for his future at Valencia, despite the club saying they are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper.
The 29-year-old is still reeling from being left out of his country's squad for this summer's European Championships, but is determined to prove himself at the Mestalla.
He told Bild: "I have been number one at Valencia for the last six months and I will now work even harder to remain number one.
"I will also push for a place in the national team again. I have no fear whatsoever."
Hildebrand joined Los Che last summer from VfB Stuttgart and went on to play 27 times last season.
