Injured Forlan misses Uruguay World Cup date
Uruguay's record goal-scorer Diego Forlan was missing from coach Oscar Tabarez's 25-man squad for the World Cup qualifier against Chile on November 11 which was named on Thursday.
The Inter Milan striker, who passed Hector Scarone's national record of 31 goals in the 1-1 draw against Paraguay three weeks ago, has been sidelined with a thigh injury.
Copa America champions Uruguay currently top the South American qualifying standings with four points from two games.
