In a rematch of last year's intense World Cup draw the United States will visit Slovenia for a football friendly on November 15 at Ljubljana, the US Soccer Federation said on Tuesday.

The match will come four days after the Americans face France at Paris in an international fixture window that will allow Jurgen Klinsmann, 1-3 with one draw since taking over as US coach in July, to secure a full lineup of players.

"This game is another good opportunity for our players to build on what we have been working on for the last few months," Klinsmann said.

The Slovenians were eliminated from Euro 2012 in group play, finishing third behind Serbia and surprising Estonia. Since their first match as an independent nation in 1992, Slovenia reached the 2002 and 2010 World Cup.

"Slovenia is a small nation that has achieved big results," Klinsmann said.

"To have qualified for two World Cups in such a short time is an incredible achievement. I've seen them play in qualifying and the last World Cup and I was very impressed."

Slovenia drew 2-2 with the US squad last June at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, the European side seizing a two-goal lead at half-time only to see the Americans equalize in the second half.
