Bolton boss Owen Coyle is hoping USA midfielder Stuart Holden will be given the chance to show his abilities at this summer's World Cup.

Holden fractured his leg playing for his country against Holland in March but made his comeback from injury in Wanderers' final Barclays Premier League game of the season against Birmingham on Sunday.

And Coyle is hopeful the former Houston Dynamo man can now go to South Africa and show what he can do, saying: "It was great to get Holden on for the last half hour. God willing he goes to the World Cup and shows his qualities."
