DaMarcus Beasley has not given up on representing the United States at the World Cup, but is wary of not making the cut after a poor campaign with Rangers.
Midfielder Beasley has struggled to break into the first team at Ibrox this season, but is hopeful of being selected in his country's World Cup squad.
"It's been an up and down year for me and I haven't played as much as I'd like, but I still hope I can make the team," said the former Manchester City player, who would be making his third finals appearance.
"There are about 15 or 16 players who are definitely going so I'm hoping to grab one of those last spots."
