Lucarelli set to rejoin Livorno

Livorno president Aldo Spinelli believes Cristiano Lucarelli is on his way back to the club from Parma.

The experienced striker spent four seasons at Stadio Armando Picchi, scoring 92 goals, before moving on to Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2007 and then Parma six months later.

But following Livorno's return to Serie A, Spinelli is confident that the 33-year-old frontman will rejoin the Tuscany club.

"I consider him already a Livorno player, albeit knowing he has not yet put pen to paper," he revealed. "It is a simple detail."
