2-0 down with 15 minutes to play, Turkey looked as if they were crashing out of the competition without getting out of the group stages.
Goals from Koller and Ujfalusi gave the Czech Republic a comfortable lead and one foot in the knock-out stages of the competition. But a glimmer of hope came in the form of a goal from Turan for the Turkish on 75 minutes.
With their heads up and the fans cheering them on Turkey turned the tide of the game and completed an astonishing comeback with a late double from Nihat Kahveci to secure their place in the knock-out stages at the cost of the stunned Czech team.
