Veteran goalkeeper Rustu Recber has confirmed his international retirement following Turkey's semi-final defeat.
The 35-year-old Besiktas keeper was thrust into action during Turkey's final two games of the competition after regular number one Volkan Demirel was given a two-match suspension for a red card.
But after gifting Germany a second goal in Wednesday's 3-2 semi-final defeat in Basel, Rustu has decided to end his international career after winning 118 caps.
"I am ending my international career where I served with pride, glory and honour for 14 years," he told the tournament's official website.
"I would like to thank everybody who has helped me. I am proud of each of my team-mates.
"Everybody in Turkey should get behind them because this team can achieve a lot."
