Mistakes costly admits Terim

Coach Fatih Terim accepted that his side had made costly mistakes in their 2-0 defeat to Portugal in their opening game at the Euro 2008 finals.
The loss to one of the tournament favourites leaves the Turks facing a must-win clash with co-hosts Switzerland, who were beaten 1-0 by the Czech Republic.
Terim said: "The Swiss match in Basel is obviously very important for us now.
"We will correct our mistakes and play better. There were times when I liked the way we played, but at other times there was obvious room for improvement.
"We tried to attack and keep the match on an equal footing and I think we achieved that initially. But the first goal was the turning point."
