Emre rates Turkey chances

Midfielder Emre says that morale is high in the Turkey camp as they prepare to kick off their Euro 2008 finals campaign with a clash with one of the tournament favourites, Portugal.
Emre is aware that his side will need to nullify the threat of superstar winger Cristiano Ronaldo in Geneva on Saturday evening, but says that Portugal have plenty of other top-class players.
He told UEFA's official website: "We're here to succeed in the difficult things.
"It is good to succeed in the difficult things as our coach always says. Anyone can do the easy things. We want to tackle the difficult things.
"It will be difficult, but it will also be difficult for Portugal. If we control the game ourselves, we can shape the whole match, because we have quality players who can do this.
"It is true that Ronaldo is playing well and looks unstoppable right now, but we will not just focus on him, because Portugal have other stars.
"There is a really good atmosphere in our team. However, it will become clear exactly how good we are once we have played our first game."
