Tagoe to fight Hoffe decision

Hoffenheim have cancelled the contract of Prince Tagoe over fears surrounding the Ghanaian striker's health.

Tagoe, 22, joined the Bundesliga club from Al-Ittifaq of Saudi Arabi on a three-year contract in June, but reports claim that medical tests have subsequently highlighted a potential heart problem.

However, Tagoe's lawyer has vowed to fight the decision, telling Sport Bild: "Hoffenheim are notified that the termination is ineffective.

"It should not be assumed at this moment in time that the player license for Prince Tagoe is in any way in danger.

"I expect there that the club will retract the termination."
