Rangnick rules out Ba exit

Senegal international striker Demba Ba will not be leaving Hoffenheim this summer, according to the Bundesliga side.

Stuttgart had been linked with the 24-year-old who scored 14 goals for Hoffenheim last term.

Ba was quoted recently hinting that he would welcome the chance of a move, but boss Ralf Rangnick has since held a meeting with the striker.

Rangnick said in a press release: "Demba has realised that it was a mistake to go public with his views.

"He did also tell us personally of his desire to transfer. But from our side, there is no consideration at all to let him go. He plays a key role in our plans."
