Rangnick doubts title hopes

Hoffenheim coach Ralf Rangnick has dismissed his side's chances of winning the Bundesliga title, despite them being crowned winter champions in Germany.

Rangnick's men lead Bayern Munich on goal difference going into the second half of the season, but he doesn't see his side holding on to top spot.

He told Bild am Sonntag: "If Bayern play a normal season, then they will win the title.

"We still regard ourselves as a promoted side and not on a par with Bayern.

"We cannot pretend that experience does not play any role at all. I do not see us as a rival to Bayern.

"If we play like we did in the first half of the season, but lose a few games unfortunately and finish sixth, I would still be happier than if we played badly but came fourth."
