Hoffenheim land Zuculini

Hoffenheim have bolstered their squad with the capture of highly-rated Argentinian youngster Franco Zuculini from Racing Club Avellaneda.

The Argentine club's vice-president Pablo Podesta has confirmed that the 18-year-old has opted to join Hoffenheim rather than Werder Bremen, who were also interested in securing his services.

He has been a first-team regular for Racing since making his debut in April 2008 and has also represented his country at Under-17 and Under-20 level.

Zuculini has already made his debut for Diego Maradona's Argentina team for last month's friendly against Panama.
