TSG Hoffenheim's superb start to life in the Bundesliga continued as they beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 to go back to the top of the table.

Demba Ba gave Ralf Rangnick's side the lead straight after half-time and then netted the winner 19 minutes from time, five minutes after Markus Steinhofer had equalised for the visitors.

Stuttgart are level on 13 points with Hoffenheim after thrashing Werder Bremen 4-1 - with Sami Khedira, Christian Trasch, Roberto Hilbert and Martin Lanig scoring for the home side.

Bayern Munich's struggles continued as they conceded two goals in the final seven minutes of their 3-3 home draw with Bochum.

A Ze Roberto double and one from Daniel van Buyten had seemed likely to set up a much-needed win for the reigning champions, but Christoph Dabrowski and Dennis Grote struck to rescue a point for the visitors.

A last-gasp Andriy Voronin goal gave Hertha Berlin a 1-0 victory at one of his former clubs, Bayer Leverkusen.

Borussia Monchengladbach prop up the table after being beaten 2-1 at home by Koln, with Milivoje Novakovic netting the winner two minutes from time.
