Hoffe warn off Ba bidders

TSG Hoffenheim have warned VfB Stuttgart and any other potential bidders that striker Demba Ba is not for sale this summer.

The 24-year-old Senegal international scored 14 league goals for Hoffe this season, sparking talk of a move away from the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

However, Hoffe general manager Jan Schindelmeister told Bild: "We're not even considering selling Demba Ba.

"His current Hoffenheim contract is set to expire in 2011, so there's no need to cash in on him.

"We want to hold on to all of our key players and Ba is one of them. He's not going anywhere and clubs can spare themselves the effort of approaching us."
