Hoffe chief hits back at Bayern

The Bundesliga season may only be a few days old but already Hoffenheim president Dietmar Hopp has found himself embroiled in a war of words with Bayern Munich.

Hopp has hit back at Bayern in the row over Mark van Bommel after accusing Munich general manager Uli Hoeness of 'living in a dream world'.

Hopp was outraged after Hoeness attempted to play down an incident which saw van Bommel shoulder charge Isaac Vorsah during the season-opening 1-1 draw.

"If that is the way he sees it, then he is living in a dream world," fumed Hopp. You can't really take Uli Hoeness seriously."
