Tranmere Rovers manager John Barnes has awarded youth team goalkeeper Joe Collister with professional forms at Prenton Parker. The 17-year-old has penned a two-year professional contract with the League One side to act as a reserve for recent loan signing Luke Daniels. "If Collister works hard and has the right attitude he could have a bright future in the game," said youth coach Shaun Garnett. "It is fantastic to see another player come through the Centre of Excellence." Chief executive Mick Horton added: "Joe is the latest in a long list of players to sign a professional contract from our very successful youth development programme. "This shows the ongoing commitment that the club has towards young players."
