Shotton makes Prenton Park return

The 20-year old joined Rovers on loan at the end of August and spent three months at Prenton Park. He made 19 appearances, scoring five goals from right-back and earning rave reviews for his performances. Rovers boss Ronnie Moore said: "I'm delighted to bring Ryan back to the club. He performed excellently for us in his three months here earlier in the season and hopefully he will continue to improve with us. "He's a big, strong defender who likes to get forward, and as we have already seen he is more than capable of scoring goals. "I'm grateful to Stoke manager Tony Pulis for allowing Ryan to return."
