Rovers wait on Goodison

Tranmere manager Les Parry will assess the fitness of defender Ian Goodison ahead of the home clash with Notts County.Rovers were boosted by the surprise return of the veteran Jamaica international during Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Rochdale after three games out with a knee injury.Goodison replaced Nick Wood at the back and impressed alongside Mark McChrystal before he was forced off with cramp in the closing stages.Parry will hope to have him available to face Paul Ince's side but a number of players look set to remain sidelined.Zoumana Bakayogo, Marlon Broomes, Max Blanchard and Tim Cathalina are still troubled by injury and on-loan midfielder Lateef Elford-Alliyu is due to play the final game of his two-month loan spell from West Brom.
