Rovers take Gunning on-loan

Tranmere Rovers boss John Barnes has signed Blackburn Rovers centre-back Gavin Gunning on a one-month loan deal.
After progressing through Rovers' youth set-up, he featured regularly for their second string last season and the 18-year-old will be hoping to get some important first-team football under his belt.
He has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-19 level and has also featured in Rovers' pre-season friendlies.
Speaking to the club's official website, Barnes said: "I'm delighted to be able to bring Gavin to Tranmere on loan. He's another young, talented defender who will improve our squad.
"I'd like to thank Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce for allowing Gavin to join us on loan."
