Rovers star to miss Bees clash

The Sydney-born utility player suffered concussion in Tuesday's 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Huddersfield and was substituted at half-time. He was replaced by Charlie Barnett, who will now compete with Alan Mahon for Edds' starting spot. Parry said: "We can't take a chance on Gareth so he won't be available on Saturday. We've got to decide between Alan Mahon and Charlie Barnett as to who replaces him." On-loan Manchester City defender Shaleum Logan is available again after completing a two-match ban. He could replace on-loan Leicester youngster Luke O'Neill at right-back, although Parry said: "Luke has done very well and Shaleum has a very tough job getting back into the team." Striker Bas Savage is still not ready to be considered for action as he recovers from a long-term Achilles injury.
