Rovers duo continue rebuilding

Rovers added midfielder Mark Allott to their squad earlier this summer and new manager John Barnes is now scouring the market for further recruits. McAteer told the club's official website: "We've been speaking to managers, players and agents and we're pleased with the progress we're making. "It's vital we make sure we get the right players for the club and don't just rush in to get the first names we hear mentioned. "We've been working hard identifying players we feel will strengthen the current squad."
