Rovers boss happy with a point

Published: 29 Dec 2009 - 10:42:54

Rovers were the more positive side but Carlisle defended well to secure a hard-earned point as they extended their unbeaten run to five League One matches. Parry said: "We cancelled each other out. We had a few chances and there were periods when we dominated the game. "But we could have lost it in the end and a draw was probably a fair result. "The lads were resilient against a very good side and we will look back and probably find that was an excellent point. "Obviously we would like to have won but not to lose was our number one aim."
