Rovers boss fuming after collapse

Published: 01 Feb 2009 - 13:39:03

Anthony Kay's seventh goal of the season seemed to have wrapped up the points for the visitors and ended their run of nine away games without victory. But when Ian Goodison was stretchered off in the second half, Rovers' defence lost the plot and Moore said: "I don't know what it is but as soon as something happens to Goodison, we become a completely different side. "We start panicking, kicking balls up in the air and become so naive. The Goodison factor is becoming ridiculous now. "If Goodison stays on we win the game. It's like the deaf and dumb school when he goes off. We're too nice at the back when we need to be more physical. It drives you crackers. "To say we're disappointed is an understatement - that's for sure. We had the better chances but we didn't keep the ball well enough at all. I don't know what it is about us being away from home."
