Rogers hails Rovers supporters

Rogers is handing over the reins to club president Peter Johnson and chief executive Mick Horton but will remain a member of the board. Rogers, who spent 10 ten years at the helm, told the Wirral Globe: "We have an extraordinarily passionate fanbase. "Tranmere are a less obvious club to support, not going with the trend to support reds or blues. "It takes strength of character to say your team is Tranmere Rovers, so it makes the connection stronger."
