Hartlepool United have completed the signing of experienced striker Ian Moore following his release by Leeds United.
Pools beat off interest from a host of League One rivals to land the 30-year-old former Burnley, Stockport County, Nottingham Forest and Tranmere Rovers frontman.
Moore becomes manager Danny Wilson's sixth signing of the summer following Arran Lee-Barrett, Jan Budtz, Jamie McCunnie, Godwin Antwi and Robbie Elliott's arrivals at Victoria Park.
"We're looking to raise the standards at the club and that is what we have been doing over the summer, bringing in new players who will bring more experience," Wilson told the club's official websie.
"The situation is getting exciting now as we wait for the start of the season.
"There is competition for places in all areas of the squad now and with those new players coming in, they can see our intentions."
