Parry bemoans luck

Tranmere manager Les Parry feels his side need some good fortune in front of goal after the 2-0 defeat to Carlisle.Goals from James Berrett and Peter Murphy either side of half-time secured a first win in four for the Cumbrians. Both sides missed first-half penalties, Cumbrians keeper Adam Collin saving from Ian Thomas-Moore after a foul by Murphy on the striker and Peter Gulasci keeping out Gary Madine's weak effort. He said, "I think we had more than enough good chances to get something from the game, and they weren't even half-chances. But full marks to Carlisle who took the chances they had and turned out winners."We conceded a poor goal just before half-time and we have to defend better. For the second goal, again we have to deal with corners."Players don't miss chances on purpose and it's no good harping on about it. The only thing missing was a little bit of luck in front of goal."We created six or seven good chances and came here to win. I didn't think for one moment we would be beaten, such is the confidence in the team at the moment. But the performance will buffer the knock we have taken."
