Parry: Drop fight will go to the wire

Published: 16 Feb 2010 - 14:11:18

Rovers have boosted their survival prospects in recent weeks but they remain in the drop zone ahead of Saturday's home clash with Leyton Orient. And Parry concedes his men are unlikely to pull clear of danger while other teams around them continue to pick up points. He said: "We are unfortunate that everybody around us is picking up points as well because everybody's beating each other. When you've got so many teams all together in a bunch, every week they're going to be playing each other and one of them has got to win. "I can't see us pulling clear of it, because it's such a big bunch, before the end of the season. So I think we're always going to be, even when we pull out of it, we'll still be looking over our shoulders."
