Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore has warned that he will crack down on his players next season if they continue to run into trouble with match officials.
Moore has grown concerned at his side's disciplinary record in recent times and feels that their play-off hopes were hit by a number of unwanted suspensions.
He told the Daily Echo: "The disciplinary situation needs sorting out because we've got to keep players on the park. The discipline has got to be tighter next season.
"Players need to know that if they step out of line they will be punished by the club.
"I don't like taking money off players, but if they are picking up stupid bookings we are going to come down heavily on them."
