Moore upbeat over Rovers chances

Published: 22 Feb 2009 - 16:07:29

Peter Leven put the Dons ahead with a 74th minute penalty, after striker Aaron Wilbraham was brought down by Rovers defender Antony Kay. But Moore's side grabbed the equaliser in the 82nd minute through substitute Terry Gornell. The Rovers manager felt his side could have won the game and said: "We were the side more likely to win it. We just needed some spark and a break but it would not come. "We did not make the most of our chances but it was brilliant for the young lad Gornell to get his first senior goal for us. It was just a pity it did not win the game. "We knew it would be hard. Indeed there are no easy games. We could have done with a win but there is still a lot to play for and no-one is being negative here."
