Moore tells Rovers to keep pushing

Published: 06 Apr 2009 - 14:06:05

Goals from Aaron Cresswell and Ian Moore gave Tranmere a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers which lifted them to within a point of the top six, but Moore admits that there is a lot of work to do. He said: "We had to win and we did the job comfortably. "It was nice for the young lad to get the opener but we needed a second goal and it was a relief when it came. You can do no more than win your own games and see where it takes you. "That's three clean sheets in a row now. Another five would be very nice indeed. The lads worked their socks off and gave their all and I am proud of them. We have now put pressure on Scunthorpe and others. "There is no room for error in the closing matches."
